Common Sense Sustainability
Everybody is in a different state and has varying capabilities to foster sustainability in their surrounding human and corporate environment. Common sense sustainability, according to Sustini - The Nature Beauty, follows the Boyscout rule “Always leave the campground cleaner than you found it” to create a steady movement towards sustainability in all dimensions. It does not require immediate 180°, but encourages a step-wise change that fits human change adaptibility.
Why NFTs?
NFT’s allow a big number of people to buy and own different kind of things. Especially the investment is an important factor to have somebody commit to do something. And in conclusion to have a long-lasting committment for sustainability changes, there needs to be investment possibilities. Interestingly, it is also possible, after the committment was made and action(s) have been taken, that the NFT is resold to have someone new, also commit to foster sustainability! :-)
Aren’t NFTs itself unsustainable
This and similar questions can be asked for everything. What I learned is that you can and should respect what others are doing and that you can leverage it to foster your own goals, through various measures. Only one of these measures are NFTs. Just think about how likely you would be to change if someone would be with you creating something or being just plain against it. Often the most creative and sustainable solutions are created by being curious and showing interest in what the other does or why the other is doing it like this or that.
